The server load from comment/refer/trackback spam was too much for one webhost to handle, so I switched this over to another web host. While I was at it, I also upgraded to WordPress 1.5 (it’s about time folks!).
Not everything will work. If you’ve got some feature of my old blog that you miss (like trackbacking comments, for example) let me know. I’m thinking of requiring registration in order to comment, and of disabling trackbacking entirely (just use Google to see what page links to you if you really want to know), but nothing set in stone yet.
Also, I’m quite busy with the job hunt and all. The paper I presented at a conference should be ready to go in a bit.
All my plugins are disabled right now as I intend to get around to do compatibility tests to ensure if they work properly with WP1.5. I think they all do but that the pluginsUsedPlugin may need a little tweaking.
Expect a wee bitty bit more blogging from me than you’ve been seeing in a while – but probably not much.
