He also manages a lab of SGI IRIX machines for MichiganStateUniversity ‘s HumanEnvironmentAndDesign department.
He’s also had various other jobs on and off at MichiganStateUniversity and elsewhere, including being a TeachingAssistant for the ComputerNetworks course CSE422, as well as for the introduction to ComputerScience for computer science majors course CSE230 back in 1997 (when he first came in).
During the summer of 2003 he was an instructor for that same course (Introduction to Programming 1) now known as CSE231.
During his undergraduate education (see EducationOfAndrew) he had a job all four years as a TutorSupervisor for the AcademicSkillsCenter there at the UniversityOfRichmond. The job responsibilities included not just tutoring (mainly calculus) but also some other things (locking up and such at the end of the day). He liked it.
